On the 3rd of March, a kick-off meeting inaugurating the implementation of the FORhesIT project (“IT system supporting higher education and career development using foresight methodology”) took place in the online formula.
The FORhesIT project is financed by the Education Programme, for which the Operator is the Foundation for the Development of the Education System (FRSE), created under the intergovernmental agreement on the implementation of the EEA Financial Mechanism concluded between Iceland, the Principality of Liechtenstein and the Kingdom of Norway, and the Republic of Poland.

The meeting was opened by Jolanta Religa, PhD – project coordinator (Łukasiewicz-ITEE), who emphasized the importance of international initiatives for the development of education and the labor market. All representatives of the consortium presented their previous experience and potential in the implementation of international projects and foresight research.
During the meeting, issues important from the point of view of the management and implementation of the project were discussed. Among others, detailed guidance on project management, including financial, organizational and administrative issues. Remigiusz Mazur (Łukasiewicz-ITEE) presented the procedures for ensuring the quality of project activities, key performance indicators and issues related to information and communication activities.
The meeting ended with a discussion of individual tasks related to the commencement of work on IO1 (Foresight methodology for future-oriented labour market) and agreeing on the date of the next meeting.
